“Collecting deaths from oppression and reflection of successes with a vengeance that is death race, I’ll rev your engine,” is a lyric from Hip Hop artist, Huc. Finn’s song, “Microphone No. 5,” which was released in Nov. of 2025. On Oct. 18, Huc. Finn will release a music video for it that features footage from protests outside of Portland’s ICE facility.
Huc. Finn takes inspiration from artists like Rakim, Atmosphere, Adele, Prince, and more, and has been a musician since about 2000. Based in Las Vegas, Huc. Finn collaborated with Irvington, New Jersey songwriter, freestyler, and producer, MAK-MIDI for this track, which is 92-seconds long.
It discusses hardships like “standing next to the guillotine,” but still “looking to the sky just to see no limits,” and briefly mentions stolen land.
The music video’s footage was filmed and edited by Joseph R. Davis, known as “Bunny,” who has been covering ICE protests at the processing facility in Portland since July 4, 2025. Davis, who’s artwork TtS has previously published, has 25 years of experience in film, art, and photography.
The video will premier at Youtube.com/@finncitytv.
