The White House released the U.S. Counterterrorism Strategy for 2026, a total of 16 pages, that maps out how the Trump regime will combat three “terrorism groups,” including “Violent Left-Wing Extremists, including Anarchists and Anti-Fascists.” The other two are transnational gangs and narco-terrorists, and “legacy Islamist terrorists,” and the document stated that all of these groups can be defeated.
The Administration’s initial focus will be on cartels, and it said it will continue to put pressure on the global Jihadi movement. The document claimed that “violent left-wing extremists” have been killing Christians and conservatives, such as Charlie Kirk “by a radical who espoused extreme transgender ideologies.”
“Our national CT activities will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist,” according to the document. “We will use all the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership, map their ties to international organizations like Antifa, and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent.”
The three strategies the document said will be used are determining who people are and what their plans are before those plans are executed; stopping access to firearms, funding, and recruitment; and eliminating what the government considers “established threat groups.” Part of its strategy will also look into the Red-Green alliance, which combines leftist ideologies and Islamist movements.
The government will also hinder “inimical state actors from assisting FTOs [foreign terrorist organizations]- whether cartels, Jihadists, or violent left-wing radicals,” according to the text.
