Gay son of Sabey Corporation founder Dave Sabey, a DHS henchman, worked for Beyoncé instead of partaking in family business

Gay son of Sabey Corporation founder Dave Sabey, a DHS henchman, worked for Beyoncé instead of partaking in family business

By Hannah Saunders

The Gay son of the Sabey Corporation’s founder, Dave Sabey, opted-out of partaking in the family business, and instead carved out a successful career in the entertainment industry. From 2011 to 2015, Jim worked for Parkwood Entertainment, billionaire pop star Beyoncé’s company. But his father, who acts as president and chairman of the Sabey Corporation, recently signed a lease with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for office space at its Riverfront Technical Park property.

While working at Parkwood Entertainment, Jim led the launch of Beyoncé’s fifth studio album, BEYONCE, which featured the hit “Drunk in Love.” He also spearheaded Beyoncé’s most successful tour launch in Parkwood’s history, grossing almost $80M in ticket sales over seven days, the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. Jim has a longtime connection with music, and in a 2014 interview with Out, Jim explained how it became his sanctuary from fears he felt and scrutiny he faced from identifying as Gay.

“I was able to sneak out of my conservative microcosm and be part of an alternative community,” Jim said.

Jim left Parkwood Entertainment to launch his marketing and consulting firm, Avalanche Ventures. It seems he lacks a strong relationship with his MAGA family members, and is the middle child. His brother John is the CEO of the Sabey Corporation and in 1995 joined the family business, which was founded in 1972.

His other brother, Joe, is the chief commercial officer and specializes in “medical and life sciences, education, data centers, government, and military sectors,” according to the company’s website. Joe is also the mayor of Hunts Point, which sits next to Medina and has a population of about 500. At May’s monthly city council meeting, Mayor Sabey once again came under scrutiny from attendees during public comment for collaborating with DHS, which continues to kidnap and terrorize community members.

Joe was elected into office in November of 2025, and is up for re-election in 2029. He’s been the town’s mayor since 2014, and won the most recent election by 95.12% (117), and 4.88% (6) were write-ins.
