‘Say No to ICE’ protest outside of Seattle’s downtown Target

‘Say No to ICE’ protest outside of Seattle’s downtown Target
January 31, 2026

During Seattle’s mass strike on January 30, community members took to protesting outside of downtown’s Target store to demand that it says ‘no to ICE.’

Seattle protesters demanded that the retail giant sever ties with federal immigration enforcement. Standing in solidarity with Minnesota, the group said Target is assisting ICE by allowing them to park their vehicles in Target’s parking lots across the nation.

Target is headquartered in Minneapolis, where DHS agents murdered Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti.

Did Mayor Katie Wilson bother to inform her constituents and Seattle residents of these upcoming public briefings via her social media accounts or Mayor's blog? Absolutely not. 🚨Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) kidnapped Alex, a Washington resident, who was on a flotilla delivering aid to Gaza. This was an illegal kidnapping conducted in international waters. Protesters gathered together on May 17 at Fisher Pavilion to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Nakba before marching over a mile through downtown Seattle ending at Pike Place Market. Several activist and labor groups, including Nidal, Amazon Worker Intifada, and Seattle Against War hosted the event, and speakers tied the historical displacement of Palestinians to the ongoing genocide in Gaza: the Nakba never ended. "UW PRIORITIES: Hosing off chalk Things are happening this week! Juniper Blessing.
