UPDATE 16:54: Since 2012, Levy has lied about being a professor at UW’s Dermatology Division. Levy is not listed as faculty on UW website. UW Information policies also allow staff to opt-in or out for their name listing. UW Medicine has reiterated on TtS’s social media posts that Levy is not an employee and hasn’t been for over a decade.

Levy is likely in violation of the Uniform Disciplinary Act (UDA), or RCW 18.130.180, which includes “any act involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or corruption relating to the practice of the person’s profession,” and “all advertising which is false, fraudulent, or misleading.” People can file unprofessional conduct complaints with the state’s Department of Health via its Health Systems Quality Assurance division. Email HSQA@Complaintintake@doh.wa.gov or call (360)236-4700.
UPDATE 14:44: UW commented on our Instagram post and stated Levy is not currently a faculty member, and that it does not condone violence.
His page on Valley Medical Center states:
“In 1999, Dr. Levy began teaching future dermatologists at the University of Washington Dermatology Division and enjoys doing so to the present. He continues to educate and teach dermatology by going to many conferences annually, as it is important to maintain one’s knowledge.”
Furthermore, Levy advertises himself working as a UW professor on Healthgrades, which is one of the most popular platforms in the country for finding healthcare providers. Under the “care philosophy” section he writes:
“To this end, I teach residents in the office and at the University of Washington from which I gain the most.”
At the Seattle Town Hall on April 19, where former IOF soldier and Miss Israel 2021 Noa Cochva spoke, protesters shouted at attendees who were walking into the building, including one who said “baby killers!” at a couple approaching. “We’re going to keep killing them!” the man responded several times. This man is Elie Levy, a local dermatologist who also teaches as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Washington’s Dermatology Division.
“We’re going to keep bombing them,” he added.
Several months after being born in Paris, Levy moved to San Francisco, then to Seattle, where he graduated from UW and received an array of dermatology experience. His wife is named Miriam and he is an active member of the American Medical Association; the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery; the Seattle Dermatologic Society; and the Washington State Dermatology Association.
