On Christmas Day, Trump posted to Truth Social and stated that the Department of War launched numerous airstrikes against “ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria,” due to killing Christians.

Reuters reported that Nigerian authorities worked with the US to attack the Sokoto state, and that the strikes “had nothing to do with a particular religion.” The operation was planned for a while, and the two nations may take further action.

Back in October, Trump claimed Christians in Nigeria face an “existential threat” and that he would intervene. This comes as Trump continues his efforts to turn the US into a Christian-fascist country.
