Sunny the Sad Doll

Sunny the Sad Doll
December 17, 2025

Meet another Sunny the Sad Doll piece! Joseph R. Davis (Bunny) created his original character Sunny the Sad Doll in 2013 as a way to express complex and dark motifs in a way that could be universally understood. Sometimes simple and cute and others dark and chilling. Sunny thematically shifted after January 20th 2024 when Elon Musk performed a Nazi Salute at the presidential podium. Bunny is currently wrapping up his 2025 series and hopes to exhibit in the Spring of 2026.
