Shoreline School District warns families of ICE activity spike in the area

Shoreline School District warns families of ICE activity spike in the area
November 24, 2025

By Hannah Saunders

Last week, the Shoreline School District (SSD) sent out this email to families warning of ICE activity in Snohomish County. Numerous videos circulated across social media showing ICE agents stopping and detaining multiple people in the area.

SSD said it remains “committed to the safety of our students, staff, and familes,” and that it will not share personal data with ICE.

If ICE attends to access SSD facilities, they will be referred to the school’s principal, the Superintendent’s office, and legal advisors.
