This morning, an onlooker recorded footage of at least three Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents tackling and beating a man in Minneapolis— and pistol whipping him— before killing him in the street. This marks the second DHS shooting in Minneapolis since Renee Nicole Good’s murder on January 7.

The City of Minneapolis posted on X, formerly Twitter, and stated that the shooting took place near 26th Street W and Nicollet Avenue. During a press conference, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the department received a report of a shooting involving federal officers at 9:03 a.m. CT in the South side of the city, where responding officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a medical center.

“This is a 37-year-old white male who is a Minneapolis resident, and we believe is an American citizen,” O’Hara said. “I think the video speaks for itself…The only interaction that we are aware of with law enforcement has been for traffic tickets. And we believe he is a lawful gun owner with a permit to carry.”

O’Hara said the feds did not provide the Minneapolis Police Department a public safety statement regarding the shooting but believes that more than one officer discharged their firearms, and that police don’t know what happened prior to the originally released video recording. But Meidas Touch recently posted a video showing the victim recording agents right before they murdered him.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a statement shortly before the City of Minneapolis press conference kicked off, and stated that DHS agents were “conducting a targeted operation…against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.”

DHS said officers tried to disarm the man but that he “violently resisted.”

“Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect also had two magazines and no ID— this looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement,” DHS stated.

It alleged that 2,000 “rioters” arrived at the location and “began to obstruct and assault law enforcement.” O’Hara acknowledged how many have questions and are angry, but that people need to remain peaceful. He noted an unlawful assembly in the area, and said the crowd was given numerous warnings to disperse. O’Hara warned people to avoid and leave the area, and said aid is coming in from state patrol, and all local, county, and regional partners.

“Please, do not destroy our own city,” he said.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also spoke, and asked how many more of the city’s residents need to die or get injured for the regime’s operation to end. He said that Trump’s administration and those involved in the shooting should take time to reflect and ask themselves what they’re accomplishing, and pleaded with Trump to achieve peace by ending this operation.

“We’re asking for you to take action now to remove these federal agents,” Frey said.
