Rodrigo Hernandez, a father who made a quick trip to the grocery store on Christmas Day, was stalked and detained upon returning to his home in Sunnyside, WA.

ICE smashed the family’s car windows, and the Hernandez family has since launched a GoFundMe to help pay for attorney fees and bring their father home. According to the GoFundMe:

“His two young daughters witnessed their father being taken, an experience no child should ever have to endure-especially on Christmas.

“Rodrigo is a devoted father and a hardworking member of his community. His sudden detention has left his family facing emotional distress, uncertainty, and unexpected financial hardship.

“We are raising funds to help cover legal fees and any other immediate needs Rodrigo and his family may have during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide support, stability, and hope as they navigate the days ahead.”
